The 38 year old French violinist, Nicolas Krassik, was educated in classical and jazz methods and discovered Brazilian music in events that took place in Paris.
He arrived in Rio de Janeiro in September 2001 and had immediate contact with Samba, Choro and Forró. Nicolas had a strong and natural identification with Brazilian culture, which made him decide to stay in Brazil.

His performances in Rio de Janeiro’s musical scene resulted in various invitations by renowned artists such as Yamandú Costa, Beth Carvalho and Marisa Monte.

He has already played with Michel Petrucciani, Didier Lockwood, Vincent Courtois, Carlos Malta, Hamilton de Holanda, Maria Teresa Madeira, Zé da Velha, Silvério Pontes, among others.
Nicolas has already recorded two CDs, “Caçuá” and “Na Lapa” (Rob Digital)
